The construction of Biocelltis' Technological Core arose from the need to understand the complexity of the tissues that make up the human body. The base of all our tissues and organs is the Extracellular Matrix (ECM), which is responsible for the biochemical and structural support of each part of our body. The technological platform developed by Biocelltis is capable of recreating the extracellular matrix (ECM) in labs, allowing for the development of various human tissues in vitro.
We reproduce the structure of the
extracellular matrix by building a network
of natural nanofibers via bacterial fermentation.
We add biologically active
molecules to the nanofiber network
We isolate human tissue cells from plastic surgeries,
postectomy procedures or biopsies
We cultivate the isolated cells on our matrix
and then reconstruct human tissues
